Group Classes

At our group classes we will expand your culinary horizons by bringing you new cuisines, information on the culture and history of the food you're preparing, and skillful techniques so you can go home with the confidence to take your family and friends on a passionate food adventure!

Group classes are small to give participants the opportunity to fully participate... so be sure and register early to secure your spot!

PREVIOUS CRATE CLASSES: 

October 30, 2007 11AM to 2PM  "Party Between The Sheets."  We'll be making hors d'oeuvres-size goodies, perfect for those holiday gatherings using phyllo, puff pastry and other "sheets."    SOLD OUT.

November 13, 2007 11AM to 2PM  "Fishing for Compliments."  You don't have to travel to the coast for delicious fish.  We'll explore various techniques and recipes for preparing delicious dishes with the "fruits of the sea."  SOLD OUT


March 16, 6:00-9:00PM "Friday Night at the Movies at CRATE" celebrating the movie "Sideways" with food and wine  despite the weather we had a BLAST at this SOLD OUT class!

April 16, 6:00-9:00PM "Between the Sheets" A Passionate meal featuring dishes made with Phyllo and Puff Pastry What a GREAT group at this SOLD OUT class...everyone left feeling CONFIDENT in their new-found abilities and full of ideas for using puff pastry and phyllo.  Thanks to you all for a FUN evening!!

June 14, 11:00AM-1:30PM "A Long Hot Summer" refreshing recipes and cool drinks for those hot summer nights.

We've been very busy at Passionate Food with private classes and researching, writing, developing and testing recipes for a new magazine recently released in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Check out TABLE Magazine (tablemagazine.com)

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration prior to the registration deadline, you can apply the fee to future classes.  Note – fees cannot be transferred to future classes for cancellations made after the registration deadline.

In the event Passionate Food has to cancel a class, your registration fee will be refunded in full.

Note:  Classes at CRATE are subject to CRATE's registration, payment and cancellation policies!
